Step 1: Create an account

  • Create an account by filling in your details: Name, email, and password. Then click ‘submit’.

  • You will be prompted to fill in an OTP verification code, which has been sent to your email.

  • Go to your email and copy the OTP code, then return to WeWire and paste or type it into the OTP input field.

Step 2: Personal Information Verification

  • You will be prompted to start your KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.

  • Fill in your country of residence and phone number, then click 'Submit'.

  • Select ‘Individual Account’ and click ‘Proceed’.

Step 3: Getting Started with KYC

  • Ensure you have any of the following valid IDs listed

  • Personal Information: Address and bio-data

  • Passport / National ID / Driver License: Include a front and back image of your ID not larger than 5MB

  • Account Statement / Utility Bill for proof of address.

  • Click Continue setup

  • Fill in the information required and click ‘Next’ after each section.

  • Bio Data (Name and email)

  • Address (should match your proof of address document)

  • ID Information (National ID, International Passport, or Drivers License)

  • Contact Information (Phone Number & Alternative Phone Number)

  • Click ‘Save and Continue’.

  • If you do not have the required documents at the moment, click ‘Skip this step’.

Step 4: Upload Your ID

  • Get ready for ID verification with your Passport, National ID, or Drivers License, and Facial Scan or Selfie.

  • Click ‘Proceed to Verify’

  • Select your country of residence and click ‘Agree and Continue’.

  • Upload or take a picture of the required documents.

  • Click ‘Continue on Phone’ if you prefer to use your smartphone camera.

  • Your account information will be verified within minutes.

  • Once verification is complete, your WeWire account will be ready!
