How to Create a WeWire Business Account

Step 1: Create an account

  • Create an account by filling in your details: Name, email, and password. Then click ‘submit’.

  • You will be prompted to fill in an OTP verification code, which has been sent to your email.

  • Go to your email and copy the OTP code.

  • Paste or type in the OTP code.

Step 2: Business Information Verification

  • You will be prompted to start your KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.

  • Fill in your country of residence and phone number, then click 'Submit'.

  • Select ‘Business Account’ and click ‘Proceed’.

You will be prompted to start the KYB process.

  • Select the country in which your business is incorporated.

  • Select the type of business you run.

  • Click on ‘Continue’

Step 3: Your Business Details

The next screen will prompt you to verify your business information. To continue, ensure you have the following information.

  1. Business registration documents, including Form 3, certificate of incorporation, and article of association.

  2. Personal information of all business directors

  3. Personal or business details of shareholders

When you have these documents ready;

  • Select ‘Agree and continue’

  • Fill in the information required for this section and click ‘Next’ after each section.

  1. Business details (Business Name, Trading name, Description, Website, Sector, Country and state of incorporation)

  2. Registered Address (City, State/Province, Zip/Postal code, Country, and Trading/operating address)

  3. Registration Information (Business registration number, Task Identification number/EIN, and Date of incorporation)

  4. Contact Information (Phone number and alternative phone number)

  5. Transaction Volumes (Estimated volume you expect to transact for a selected period)

  • Click ‘Save and Continue’

Step 4: Directors Information

Fill in the information about the director(s) of your business and click ‘Next’ after each section.

  • Bio data (Name, email, and date of birth as appears on the director's National ID)

  • Address (should match your proof of address document)

  • ID Information (National ID, International Passport, or Drivers License)

  • Contact Information (Alternative Phone Number & Alternative Phone Number)

  • Shareholding status (Indicate director shareholding status)

  • Click ‘Save Director’

  • You may add a new director or click ‘Save and continue’.

Step 5: Shareholders

  • Fill in the information about your business's shareholder(s)

  • Select the type of shareholder (Individual or Business Shareholder)

  • Shareholding status (Indicate shareholding percentage)

  • Biodata (Name and date of birth as they appear on the National ID)

  • Address (should match your proof of address document)

  • ID Information (Select ID type, fill in the ID Number, and upload the front and back images of the ID)

  • Contact Information (Email, Phone Number & Alternative Phone Number)

  • Click ‘Save and continue’

  • You may add a new shareholder or click ‘Next’.

Step 6: Upload Business Registration Document

To complete your onboarding, you’ll need to upload the following documents to support your business:

  • Business Certificate

  • Partnership deed/agreement

  • Proof of business address

After providing the required documents, click on ‘Submit documents’

  • Click ‘Back to overview’ to view your WeWire account.

  • Once verification is complete, your WeWire account will be upgraded to a business account!

Your KYC has been completed and is being reviewed!
